Default Stereo Head units?

Hey guys, im looking at new stereo head units for my truck. Im not very good at this kinda stuff so im gonna ask you stereo guru type people. Ive always had a soft spot for Alpine stereos, however, is there anything of better quality out there for the same price? At this time i do not intend on hooking up any kind of sub woofer or amplifier to my truck, but that may be done down the road.

Here is a CD head unit im currently looking at for my truck. Id like you guys to tell me the goods and bads about this unit as well as if there is anything better or more fully featured as this, i do NOT want to lack on quality!!

Again, if you guys know of another head unit thats better quality and/or more fully featured than this , feel free to link me to it, but remember, i do NOT want to lack in sound or unit quality.

Dont buy a head unit unless it has Front USB ,,,

Stick your Music on a Jump Drive and stick it in your radio and your done ! ,, Want new music? Stick your jump drive in your puters usb delete the tunes and fill it back up

This is the only way to fly , screw MP3 Disks with 1000 songs and screw CD's and changers

USB all the way

Kenwood Offers some Front USB Head Units I have one

USB flashdrives are CHEAP now. Look at Fryes or even Wal Mart less then $20.00. I personally like Kenwood stuff as far as HU's and amps, but that is me.

any of the big companys have good HU's. just when you buy make sure it have Sub pre-outs.

Premier has some really nice HU's, if you want it they do it.

Im personally have always used Alpine as my main deck of choice, Check out crutchfield.com they have deals on alpine stuff all the time and you can check out there scratch and dent section for better deals In my 2500HD I have an Alpine touch screen

Friggen thing is sweet it was a little pricey but in the long run way worth it, stereo imaging, downloadable programming NAV, ready reverse camera it does pretty much evrything!
