Default Cables/Starter gets hot but won't turn over

I have replaced the starter and relay. both batteries are fully charged and are delivering 1025 CA. All I get when I turn the key is an audible clank but no engine rotation. When I check the starter and cables they are warm to hot. I have tried different cables with the same results. Can anybody help me I need this truck on the road.

i bought a new starter for my mud truck. it was jan, so in may when i went to install, it would slow crank, no where close to fast enough to start. i bought new cables, new battery, new solenoid, new ignition switch. no luck with any of it. tore up the flexplate and went through 4 more starters. took the starter back for a refund, went to the good ole corner parts store and it started right up. short story, different places like autozone may not have the quality needed to spin it over

pull the starter and see if it works out of the truck but hold on tight with your foot.
