I just fixed a power steering leak and i had to put more fluid in there but i had some trans fluid(mercon5) in there and then i added some carquest brand power steering fluid, My question is,is it ok to mix the two toghether???

 

Yours takes the atf. PSF is different and would not recommend mixing them.

 

^^^ agreed. I would flush it out and get some new ATF in there. With a power steering set up cheapo depot store brand Dex/Merc is fine. I change mine annually.
