Is there a option for replacing the stock breather and filter to perhaps allow for more air flow. Just wondering.
90 F250 7.3 idi everything is stock on this truck just picked it up in a trade deal.

hypermax cowl induction kit. the stock air cleaner flows plenty.

 

I have thought about doing that with a 91 F350. However some things I have read is that the head bolts are not strong enough and need to be changed out and many other things going wrong. I got this 90 model in on a swap and it has a really good stought running motor. So if you dont mind give me some insight into what all has to be done to install a turbo on this truck all information would be great.

Turbo can be put on a stock motor, the issues you have read about are from people pushing the limits...

 

I went with DC s advice and installed a hypermax cowl induction, it was an easy add on and made a BIG difference ! next is the bigger exhaust once I get paid from all these forest fires I been hitting !
