Default boost pressure? where did it go?

WTF?
SO i am new to this diesel world and got an 09 350 6.4, i hated the MPG's so i got a AFE stage 2 intake and a bully dog turner, right now i have stock exhaust. I am dumping boost pressure once the truck warms up (usually a few miles away from home), i will build it and dump over and over? i have checks seals on the AFE intake and all seem good. I am cleaning the air filter today but believe it is something more then a dirty filter.

any ideas let me know! it is driving me crazy thanks!

It would have nothing to do with anything in front of the turbos. You could take your entire air intake off and it wouldn't matter (as far as boost is concerned) boost isn't made until the turbochargers. I haven't exactly heard of this issue.

I would put it back to stock tuning and try again. Is the truck going into regen at all? I wouldn't be running that tuner anyways. If you really want mileage gains, delete the DPF and go with some good custom tunes, like Spartan tuning using the Dashdaq, or SCT with Innovative tunes, or H&S tuner with KEM tunes.
