Ive got a 1993 Chevy 6.5 td that doesnt like to start and when it does it only runs for a little while then sounds like its got a cam and then dies. Its is all mechanical. I put in a new injection pump, fuel pump, and ops. Plese help if you have any ideas of what else it could be.

 

If you did those things and then it started doing that I would think there is still air on the lines. We had a fuel pump that would loose its prime and it would run rough for quite a while but it never died. how did you bleed the fuel system?

 

It did it before i changed all that stuff and i cracked the lines on the injectors

 

What happened when it started doing this? Any codes?

 

No codes. Figured out there is no power to fuel pump
