Default 1997 Ford Powerstroke

My 1997 ford f 250 diesel is leaking diesel fuel in the valley. Any idea whats wrong?

fuel bowl drain more then likely. If not it is the fuel pump...

Also check your fuel lines and the sensor that is on the back of the bowl that's where mine was leaking from

there is a cone shape silver sensor on the drivers side that can leak like a siv if it unthreads or goes bad

I thought my '96 was a leak in the valley but it was the steel line (pass. side) that feeds the back of heads had the o-ring go bad and sprayed fuel all over. Just something else to look at.

I thought mine was the valley, but its the water in fuel sensor that comes out the driver side of the bowl. I read on another thread that you can buy a new sensor on ebay, or if ur not concerned about the sensor you can install a brass male plug to fill the hole. Just dont overtighten.
