Default 6.5 turbo diesel

i have got a 1999 6.5 turbo diesel and i was driving and my tachometer began to flicker and then my battery light came on so i pulled over popped the hood and it was smoking the altnitater seized up and snapped the belt because of heat i drove it for about another mile and then parked it somewhere safe i then went and got a new altinator and belt put them in and it seemed to be fine i drove it a wase adn then pulled off at the store it was idling and then just quit now the truck wont stay running it will turn over and fire but wont stay running im not sure what it is any ideas?

did you make sure all the grounds and wires were put back in the same place? batteries charged?

batteries are charged it fires but wont stay running ive been told grounds from the harness at the back of the engine

i havent tried it yet but the guy from heath diesel told me that most likely was the probably

yea there should be some in the back passenger side near on top of the intake manifold.

there is one on the pas. fender too.

thanks alot guys thats exactly what it was it was the front ground in the picture.

LOL!

Another 6.5'er bit by the PCM intake ground point demon....
