Stock VP44 vs. Hotrod VP44

Stock VP44 vs. Hotrod VP44
So I'm pretty sure my VP44 has bit the dust.
I'm wondering if there is any benificial gains to going to the Hotrod as going with the stock VP44? I was told that it is suggested that if you install the Hotrod VP44 that 100hp Injectors are recommended? Anyone have any information on whether or not any other mods need to be done to accomadate for the Hotrod VP44 or any other suggestions?

On that note, what could be expected for horsepower with proper mods on a Hot Rod pump?
