Default 2004 6.5l duramax low oil pressure

I am working on a 2000 chevy 3500 with a 6.5l duramax td. when idling and driving around the city and highway the oil pressure is fine. the only time it acts up and drops to zero for a split second is when exiting the freeway while slowing down. I can not recreate the issue at any other time. i have already replaced the ops checked the gage by grounding it out and it all seems to work. i havnt never seen this and i am looking for ideas.

if you can get access to a scanner id go into the instrument cluster and watch displayed vs. monitored oil press. or hook up a temp. mech. oil gauge. the ecm monitors the oil press. and sends info. to the press. gauge. depending on how long the oil press. hits 0 you should be getting a dtc in comp. for something like oil press. sensor circuit low or something to that affect. replaced tons of instrument clusters on these trucks but never seen a prob with oil press. sensor or diff. filters.
