7.3 Help

Hi I have a 93 7.3 IDI with a banks sidewinder kit. My question is my truck starts great run's great but when you let your foot off the gas to hit the brakes the truck dies starts right back up. I changed the lift pump and fuel filter but still it dies. Help please thanks. Happy Holidays to the forum....

600 to 700.

i would try bumping that up a few hundred. i know my truck is right around 900

base idle should be around 700. have you ran any cleaner threw the fuel system? the gov is sticking. take the fuel filter off and drain it. refill with ATF or dieselkleen. reinstall. start motor for 10 seconds or so. shut down and let it sit overnight. next day run her like hell.
