for an IDI motor? is it turboed or not>?

 

early 94 hoss... idi its in the 83 to 94 group with turbo

so i think...its mechanical injection with a turbo (takin his word for it) its a 5 speed clean truck just lookin for more juice has the fuel pump cracked up a tad any other suggestions other than pump tweaks to get a little more humph out of her?

 

is it the factory turbo? if so, go to banks and get their downpipe to replace the drushed stock one. then go to hypermax and get their cowl induction intake. both these are under 100 bucks. now that we got good flow in and out, either you can risk it and run stage one sticks from DPS or go over to oilburners.net and look for the user ANGEM. he sells upgraded injectors also. but i will say it just might need new injectors. how many miles are on them? and are they still factory ones? if so they are Emmissions injectors. G codes. i pulled the G codes outa my 94, installed factory BB codes in and retimed my pump. ran before and after dyno pulls. gained 35 hp.

Hey DC would upgrading just the impeller on my stock turbo do any good ? ( Same Truck 94 IDI Turbo Auto ) ???

 

have fun trying to find one. some guys have machined out the housing and then put a different wheel in. but nothing will bolt in replace it.
