Default Has anybody installed the 4x4 front hub conversion

hello i was just wondering if any body has done the front hub conversion on there dodge i have a 2004.5 3500 dually and was looking at ways of bumping up my fuel milage i have heard you can get like 3-4 gallons per mile better and was just wondering if any one has done this and how much it increased. also thought about doing the electric fan asy and trying more ways of increasing fuel milage.

all i know is that recently my truck fuel milage has gone to **** quick and it dont look like it gonne get better have done everything i can think of check tires psi and changed oil and serviced air filter turned edge to stock and even serviced cooling sys any help thanks

i saw a few trucks have them. he said it helped some.

But didn't hear about Mileage ? I mean 3-5 mpg is still better

they advertise a 1-2 mpg increase, but they save so much on the front drive line/ tcase, they seem more than worth it. Being serviceable is never a bad thing either

Like the Dutchman said.
I have a Spyntec on mine and really like it, don`t think there is a significant MPG increase, but not having the unit brg/hub is a lot of peace of mind.
Especially nice to maneuver a trailer in 4wd LO with hubs disengaged .
Kinda a pain to have to get out and lock in hubs when all four are needed needed-LAZY!
All in all, I consider it a good mod

I'm happy with mine, not sure about how much mpg's increased because I had a diffrent cp3 and injectors installed at the same time. The thing I have noticed that I like a lot is it steers a lot easiers now, really feels like it's in 2 wheel drive now when transfer case isn't ingauged
