Default Intake

I am going to install a new inake. I found Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake on summit for $149 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sp...s/?prefilter=0. Has anyone installed this? Is it worth my time?

So is it something you would recommend? If I don't have to spend $250+ on something that only adds 3-5 hp (check any dyno test video) I would love it.

Intake won't add to your dyno unless you are pushing 450+.

Make a ******* whistler for about $80 or so, and some time.

God...it's a stock intake horn. Nothing to do with a CAI.

Don't know where you get off defining the term "intake," but FYI, it's everything north of the valves on the drivers side of the head. That's why they are called "intake" valves. And that piece you are looking at is where some horsepower you said doesn't exist below 400 lies.

Just FYI.

That's generally referred to as an intake horn. Not to be confused with a cold air intake Nadir. Of course you know this already. $150 bucks is cheap enough, so what the hell? Give it a shot.
