does anyone know which way i should adjust my wastegate to get it to spool up at lower rpm's?

 

that wont matter. can adjust it all you want it wont change low rpm boost.

The wastegate is used to regulate max boost.

 

Ok...so i would want to open it to increase boost i take it? I know i sound like a dumb a** but this is my first time messing with a turbo, so i appreciate the help!

 

When closed it forces all the exhaust gasses to go through the turbine, and when it opens it allows some of the exhaust gasses to bypass the turbine, if you were to shorten the rod then it would take more boost to open the wastegate therefor increasing your max boost... Just don't give it too much with out head studs, don't want you to blow yer engine.
