I just recieved an SCT X3 pn 3000, it has a 60hp and an 80hp tune loaded. These will do until I can figure out which customs that I want. SCT and the local tuner shop are off till Monday, so here we go. Oh yeah, it isn't married, no stock tunes in it, 4 unlocks remaining and I updated the Firmware.
ISSUES: "Strategy not supported" Odd because this pn is for a Ford diesel.
Unlock ECM failed 1019
Upload stock failed 1017
No tune changes 1009
Any ideas? Sucks that I'm on the left coast, SCT is on the right and I got it on a Friday.

 

Yeah, more than likely just not the right tunes for your truck. This was an ebay buy wasn't it? I can try sending you a tune via email just to try out if you want. It obviously wont be for your strategy but if you load it and it works then that's the problem. PM your email.

 

Seems there was a loose nut behind the programmer! Got a few tunes from Greg at Innovative and the truck SCREAMED down the road. Not really digging the initial plume, but I guess I gotta take the good with the bad.

 

The regular street tune is still close to a 400 rwhp tune (less torque, mid 600's vs the x-street/x-race's high 700's) and has hardly any smoke. That is a good daily driver.
