How long is the trans gonna last? they were known for weak transmissions but that's what you get for using a 5/16" spline shaft

Sad part is I know people that would do that... And I'll let them, I need a good laugh once in a while.

I ran my 88 GMC door 4x4 dually out of gas a few miles from home. So I jogged home and got my civic. I pulled that sucker home, never made it out of 1st gear.

Seeing as how ford only rates it to tow 1,000-2,000 pounds.... I'm going to guess it wont last long...
