I have an 84 K10 6.2 diesel that the WTS light does not come on, and the truck will not start. My stepson and I checked it out and figured that the glow plug controller was bad. I bypassed it, but the WTS light still does not come on. I am running out of ideas and don't know what else to do. Any help will be appreciated.

 

did you try the bulb in the dash yet that powers the light

 

The dash lights have power. The glow plug lights comes on, and you can rear the relay clicking, but the WTS light does not come on and the motor will turn over but will not start. I have used either and it starts fine, no either no start.

 

what you can try and do is pop the relay cap of the glow plug relay and hold the power part directly to the spool in side the relay for 10 secs, then start it and see if that does anything. check for broken wires around the truck too
