Has anyone put the 34 gallon tank where the 25 gallon one went on a ext cab short bed? I was looking at LMC and there is an extra strap and bracket. When I was looking under there there seemed to be room, but dont know if it will be in way of lift pump or my fs 2500 filter. Not wanting tank in bed as the space is used to haul tools. I am a couple hundred miles from where my truck project is so I cant go out and look myself. Thanks

 

it might work, but remember your truck thinks it still has a 24 gallon tank. which means your fuel gauge is going to be way off

 

Oh you have to do is put in the right sending unit for 35gal tank

Now if it swap out i don't know i was thinking about seeing putting in bigger tank. Lets know if you do it and if it works

I'm gonna do it and will post up pics and describe problems and results. I'm still working on the H1 motor transplant at the moment, and after the bugs are worked out will I will start that project.
