is this all i need to do?
I have searched for my answer but have not found the exact answer i am lookong for, i unplugged my egr on my 2011 the one on top of the intake horn but have seen some stuff about removing the gear from the unit that is lower down on the intake horn, do i need to do this as well or will just unplugging the top one be sufficient? Will there be any side effects from not removing the gear? Or will i be ok?

I average about 11.5 in town up to 12-12. 5Depending on my foot, i just unplugged the egr today anf it runs way better without it, i cant help but think that its going to get better, i barely hafta give it any gas to take off now(6 speed manny) befor it would fall on its face on takeoff and id hafta give it alot of throttle to take off, now its driving much better with def notice in power improvement.i have gotten 17 highway unloaded and about 13 pulling y 4500 lb boat, bout to realy find out how she does im going on a 600 mile trip pulling my 15000 lb 5er, so we will see in a couple weeks when i hit the road. Thanks for the help, i was just worried about hurting something.
