still having issues!!
ok i have a 96 250 with a built jasper trans. for a long time it has been having the limp mode issue where when ya drive it it will do perfect at times and others it wont shift unless you peg it to the floor, then it jolts into gear. if you manually put it in 2 it will go from 1 to 2 perfect then when ya put it in drive it acts as if its in neutral. and when you cruise down highway sometimes it acts as if its in neutral. and sometimes it shifts early (4th at 25 mph) i have no cel light, replaced trans fluid valve body and shift solenoids and the speed sensor on the dif. winter is just around the corner and would like my truck fixed. does anyone have any ideas where to look now? because im clueless. last time i took it to ford they drove it basically around the block and "couldnt find anything wrong" and charged me 80$s and dont want to go thru that again. thank you all.

im a college kid. cant really afford taking it everywhere and get charged for it. spent damn near 400$s cuz i was told the valve body and solenoid pack would fix it but it did nothing but make me broke. usually i do all my own work but i am clueless now.

i'm not much of a trans guy, have you tried calling other trans companies and getting more opinions?
