Default Ron's Turbo Service

has anyone in here ever done business with Ron's turbo service in West Jordan Utah? He advertises to specialize in Ford powerstroke turbos, but can work on any of them.

I am curious to know, because I had 3 good experiances with him, and on #4 I am missing parts. Just wondering, oh, and is there one of our sponsors here that can balance turbo's?

I just dropped off my turbo shaft/wheels at the post office to have him balance them About five minutes ago. He also did one for me years ago. No problems so far. I know if you are sending him one to balance, he only wants the turbine wheel/shaft, compressor wheel, and the thrust bearing out of his kit (if you bought it from him). What parts are missing?

All of them... He cashed both of the checks that I sent with my parts, and that was on May 10. I still don't have parts. By definition, that constitutes mail fraud, which is a pretty serious felony.

The part about this that I don't understand is the fact that the first turbo assembly I sent him came back about 10 days after I sent it. I damaged the backing plate on the compressor side, ordered one from him, got in just a few days... I don't get it. The parts I sent him were for my hx35/hx40 holset hybrid for my dodge. I would like to stay posted on your progress with your parts, and if you feel you are having issues, let me know, I already have a case # going and investigation in progress with the West Jordan PD...

Got mine back today. 2 days there, 1 day balance, 2 days back. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I'm happy now, bit I'll probably use someone else next time.

got some email back from him a couple days ago, and he says he wants me to call him, so I am going to and am definitely going to use someone else next time.

dude finally answered the phone, I think that he needs a decrease in business so he can take care of all of his customers without getting so confused.
Apparently he couldn't read my return shipping address by 1 number and that is why he claimed he had not sent it... My phone number was on my checks... Pretty poor excuse for his disorganization if you ask me, but he says he he put it in the mail after I talked to him at lunchtime. I guess we shall see in a couple of days. too bad i go to work for 10 days tomorrow afternoon
