hot shot whats it take to start
well i am looking at getting out of the army soon (dont like the way its headed) and i been looking at several things and one is hot shot. my question is whats it take to get in and get started
A new truck, dully, and at least a 20k trailer, a million dollars worth the insurance, and a class b CDL. Most companies will not settle for less than above. Also going to have to follow DOT rules and regulations, such as time logs, pre and post trip inspections, weigh scales, GVW stickers, DOT # stickers, and your company name as an llc ( limited liability company) on your vehicle, also a GVW and DOT numbers on the trailer.
thanks, wasnt sure which one it was.
what about using a 3/4 ton truck and a gooseneck rated at 25000lbs since i already have both of those i am just really looking at several diffrent options i have a wife and daughter who depend on me to be working and i cant go with out a paycheck for too long if i get out
Well I'm not a100% positive but i have been told there is a law in Texas that any trailer over 24ft has to be pulled by a dually but I see plenty that are not so it may just be bs that some one was telling me
i have lived in texas my hole life and have never heard of anything like that at all
