I could go with out the bumper and bodykit but hey it's a awesomely clean looking truck for the age. I think that was a great trade

 

body kit looks like a huge ferrari testarossa nice ! now make it a fummins

 

thats what the kit is called, the truckarossa. i like it cause you dont see this kit around here. just the centrunion kits.

some cash? nope. he was asking 12000 for the ford. i wanted 11000 for my dmax.
we traded pretty much straight up. i LOVE the old idi motors. gmc was just a filler truck till i found the one i wanted.

 

Both look like nice clean trucks, I personally wouldn't have made that trade but it's your truck and as long as you're happy with it thats all that matters, Enjoy

 

the dmax was starting to have issues. needed injectors, was starting to haze. also the trans was still bone stock with 175000 on it. and i havent been easy to it.KBB says the gmc was worth 14000 private sale. 10000 trade in. dealers around me were only wanting to give me 8000 for it.

the ford i have wanted for a while. biggest thing i like is the ability to run Alt Fuels. plus i love the simplicty of the IDI motors. and having a gmc pulling my crawler around was just wrong. .
