Default free spin hub question?

will a ball joint ford dana 60 work under a superduty?

also can you use the knuckles out from an obs on a superduty front end? The reason I ask is....I did the conversion on my dodge dana 60(1998 2500 dana 60 unit bearing axle) I used the the ball joints, knuckles, brakes, spindles ect... It was so much cheaper than say a dynotrac kit.. think I got a complete axle for $950. just had to repack the bearings and add brake pads.

with this being said....can it be done?

also what would have to be done to get the obs complete dana 60 to bolt under the superduty. I have not measured anything at all. I figured this has been tried before.

well i know for the trac bar, on the superdutys' it's in front of the axle. OBS is behind, the sway bar is straight on the superdutys' and mounts a little different. if you are wanting to do this swap just cos it has actual spindles, and can replace bearing on both sides for 20 bucks. i believe warn has a conversion kit for the factory SD axle so you can have a normal spindle and not the $500/ side hub.
