Bleed the brakes, check for leaks.

Yes bleed your brakes. What you described is a common symptom of air in the lines.

i just replaced the master in mine, then the booster(really hard pedal) i belive in mine the rear brake cylinders are leaking, (has an extremely soft pedal) i believe the brake booster is adjustable not sure. what about sitting in a dry parking lot, and pumping the brakes alot then getting out to see if theres fluid anywhere, maybe a bad line, loose connection.? let us know how you make out and good luck!
