Default Head Gaskets

I am going to remove my heads to install new valve springs and to inspect the top end of the engine.
Here is my question Which head gaskets are the best.

Ford, they want $120 each for them

International, they want $95 each

Then I went to the local parts store and asked for Fle-Pro and they were only $28 a set.

What gives, With pushing between 60 to 70 PSI of boost which head gasket do I want to run?? Don't much care how much as long as they last.

Can any one shed any light on this??

60-70psi is about 10-20 psi over the limit I would go with stock head gaskets...

You need to give the gaskets several hundred miles to "seal" before you start pushing it.

60psi is close to where I would be looking at fire rings.

I am going to set my wast gates to about 50psi. If I can ease into it then the wast gates will hold the boost at 50, If I just jump on it thats when I have seen bost to the 60psi mark.

I was not going to install fire rings untill I plain on running over 70psi of boost. I don't want to do that untill I can install my other turbos. Thats when I will fire ring the heads and other needed mods.

So far its running great. With out head studs or heavy valve springs installed yet I really have not pushed it.
I hope to have it ready for the dyno by the end of the month. Will post #'s when I get them.
