Default Questions and opinions!

Hey guys bout ready to pull the trigger on a truck. Few questions and thoughts though. I have made up my mind on cummins. 04-07 has to be 5.9, has to be auto, has to be four door, and has to have under 100k. More inportantly has to be 25k or under.

I have my eye on two trucks

1. 2004(not 04.5) has 70k on the clock, Its red. It appears to be in really good shape. I drove it about 15miles. and ran it hard once it was warm. Shifts fine runs good. BUt it doesnt feel super tight. but its not like its rough. has a small dent in the passenger rear bedside. but not to bad. Has no bed liner, no brake controller, which is a plus. means it wanst towing anything heavy, and bed is scratched but not worked.

They just went from $24999 to $21500. Price is awsome!!!

2. 2006 has 49k on the clock, silver color, and this thing is like new. drove it about 20 miles. runs amazing, shifts good, very very tight. brakes good. NO bed liner or brake controller. came form utah. ther are a few small spots of rust un the underbody. But its more like normal wear rust, not like cazy stupid rust

The down side they are asking 28999. which is out of my range. but if i can talk em down to 25k i could maybe get it.

Both truck are sport package, and STOCK. BUt i just want to know if i should hop on one of these!!?? or wait til gas is 6 bucks and they will be cheaper? Will they ever get cheaper??

Diesels are very hard to find in my area that havent been trashed. I would wait to find one in your price range that is in good shape. Diesels trucks are not cheap to maintain and fix up

If fuel prices keep going up I bet prices on trucks will start to drop.
