Customer service. They are a strong transmission but the kicker is that Brian stands by his work.

What are your plans for the truck? If you plan on keeping it stock, you could get away with a HD Ford reman unit. You might be able to get away with a local reputable shop to do the work, I would look into what they do, make sure you get a triple disk TC and upgraded planetaries and all that good stuff. Also make sure they stand by their warranties.

If you plan to build this truck though. You will break a stock replacement and you will be out the 3k for the local rebuild and then you will be back at square one. If you wanna build, Pay the money.

my plan for this truck is a tranny. 250-275/100 hybrid injectors, adrenaline HPOP, airdog, D66 turbo and head studs then keep it as my daily driver and get a 6.4 with a manual tranny. this truck isnt staying stock. my local tranny shop can build me one for 3500 before tax and labour and he would warranty it for 50,000 miles and only says it could handle 500hp. i figure if im gonna pay that before tax then i might as well pay some more for a BTS. whats the warranty on this tranny?

BTS for sure. You will break that local shop tranny quickly. Also, You might want to look into a bigger turbo, it can be done with a d66 but it can be done better with something like an H2E or Modded H2E. Just something to look into.

H2E flows more air than the D66. With 250cc+ injectors, you will be pushing the limits of the D66 IMO.
