Default boost elbow

I got a boost elbow for my 01 cummins. Can I use this elbow on my truck with an automatic trans or is only used for the manuals. I was looking at the turbo and it has a metal line that doesnt look like it can be removed.

It should be a rubber line not metal. Also, I reccomend not running a boost elbow without somesort of aftermarket tuner or box. On completly stock truck with just adding the boost elbow, we lost 34 hp at the rear wheels on the dyno, now with a box we gained 40 vs without it. Just food for thought

No. Its metal. Coming out the back of the actuator. I guess it wont work on my truck. I have a boost elbow for sale.
