thats what i am getting ready to do.. just picked up my 93 dodge truck last night 700$$$ bucks and drove it home... going in my 87 burb.. 4x4

 

That sounds like a smokin deal. Where you located?
Been wanting to do this for a long time. A burban would make a much better tow vehicle for the race trailer, especially with the third row seating. I have a '95 drivetrain as my sons truck was recently totaled. Ony thing is it's NV4500 vs. auto. Think I would prefer auto especially when backing.

I am not in a position to do anything in the way of a trade at this time. Long story, everybody has one..... Everything I have is still good, but needs some amount of work/ parts due to damage incurred in an accident. I am just seeking information at this time and looking toward a possible future project that I have wanted to do for quite some time. I am kinda thinking of going the 5.9/ Allison route. What do you know oof such a combination?

 

look at 4bt swaps forum one of the guys just did a burban..
