hey guys i have a 01 lb7 with a predator right now. im not to happy with the predator, i dont much care for the way it shifts and i would like somethin that throws a little more smoke (i have it on 120 right now and it makes me kind of nervous, and im not sure if its ok to dd on 120, so if you know if it is or not let me know please). i have a stock tranny so i am limited on my options, and a tranny build is not in my near future at the moment.so any suggestions you guys might have will be taken into consideration

Detune your predator before you need to do a tranny build. 120 is to much for a stock tranny to take IMO.

 

I agree with Scott, detune that thing before you have to put in a new trans.. take it from a guy that has eaten 6 Transmissions in 3 years..

Dont shop for a tuner on the amount of smoke it throws.. Bully Dogs throw a TON of smoke, but they are THE WORST written tunes IMO..

You're much better off BOMBING your truck to make it stronger first.. then faster.

 

i run my bully dog on the 90hp tune everyday.... i wouldnt go over that though

 

Get a trans go jr. shift kit that will help the tranny to hold alittle bit better but not much. Its not like a trans go in a 6 speed allison

 

if you want a tuner that smoke decent and isnt bad on your truck get a PPE. with the tuner you got now on that tune youll be lookin for a good trans shop soon
