what psi does the lift pump put out

thinking about 5-8 lbs, but could be wrong. it is low,more volume than pressure

Probably more like 2-3, just to feed the transfer pump in the IP

The stock lift pump puts out 4-5psi, you can go a bit higher, about 7psi I believe. You dont want to go much higher though as the increased pressure will throw off the timing in your IP and possibly blow out some seals.

how would you crank the pressure up? and just doing that means your throwing more fuel tyo the IP right?

You cant adjust a factory lift pump, but a lot of people switch to electric fuel pumps that are adjustable.
