My factory gauge in the dash went south on a long trip to Tennessee in feburary. I looked down at the gauge and there was no oil pressure at all ... I quickly pulled over and found a Oreily auto parts and bought a mechanical gauge and installed it in the parking lot and whala over 60#s of oil pressure. There is a port on the top of the oil filter housing where i run mine to. It worked out perfect there...

No problem man.. Let me know how it works for you... I just need to find a place to mount the gauge. I already have three gauges on the pillar but havent figured out where to mount the oil pressure gauge..

i found the perfect place to mount mine i just did a auto to manual conversion and the place in the dash were the O/D switch was is just big enough to dremel a hole out and slide in the gauge.

did you have to get a nipple to screw into that port or additional hose or did it all come with the gauge?

The nipple cam with the gauge. If i ant mistaken is a 1/4"npt niple. It didnt come with much hose so you may need a longer piece it just all depends on your routing and where you are gonna put the gauge.

Oil is fed from the second port on the oil filter head to the guage. The fitting is 1/8" npt.

Dont forget a ball valve in case the guage leaks (and it certainly can) - you can shut it off quick. 70 psi of hot oil = not good.
