AC/Vent Fan Doesn't Work

Does it still work on high setting. A common problem is a coil under the dash that burns in half and the fan will only work on high setting.
If it's out completey use an ohm meter to see if your gettin juice to the fan. Just unplug the fan and test it at the plug there. If your not gettin anything there you just move back to the fuse panel and or the switch and test for power. This is assuming the fuse is still good itself.
By the way welcome to the site. Hope to see a lot of ya around gere.

Well I am getting no voltage at the fan connector. And with the fuse pulled I am getting 11.7 Vdc at the fuse panel. The fuse is still good. I guess I have a wire problem between then fan and the fuse panel. But I am not positive that I am checking the right fuse either. There is no fuse where it says there should be for the fan and you can't put one there. There is a 30 amp fuse where it says there is supposed to be nothing which is the one I checked. The other 30 amp fuse os for my windows.

You should be able to hot wire the fan to test it, just run a jumper wire to the fan from the fuse slot and another to anything on the truck to ground the fan plug. Never done this but in theory it should be a way to check the fan. If it works doing this then you know the problem is in between there. Wish I could give you an easier answer to this. 99% of the time it's the coil or the fan that are bad, other problems are rare with the fan.
