still running the stock wh1c turbo. ive heard a lot about blocking the wastegate? what is this? hows it done? and what can be gained?

 

stock waste gate opens at 19.6 psi, you can use a boost elbow or just crimp the line to whe waste gate, this will allow you to get 25-30 psi

 

just becareful for drive pressure if you crimp the line off
you can blow head gaskets that way

 

just watch the boost gage, dont let it go over 35,, i would put a boost elbow in so you can kinda controll it

Hey man Industrial Injection sales the boost elbow pretty cheap. Got one on my brothers '98 12v. about 30-33lbs is where i'd set it. I pushed 38lbs outta my stock hx35 for about 6 months then it siezed up completely. Lol. Just some friendly info for ya.
