anyone know what lift is needed to run 35's on a 91 f350?

I am runnin a 4'' lift with my 315/75-16's

 

4" will clear, 6" IMO the proportionate lift that looks killer with 35's

 

I ran 37s on a 95 with only a leveling kit in the front.

I'd bet you can squeeze 35s on there bone stock. I know of several people that have done it and it works just fine.

 

31's on my 87 rubbed when turning or hitting hard bumps at partial turns. i cant imagine oh bad 35's would be. but mine was a f250 with the TTB front suspension, maybe its different with a real straight axle on an f350

 

F350s do sit a fair amount higher than the TTB trucks, so I imagine that's the reason.

 

The wheels you use will play a large part in how the tires fit. I saw a guy running 37's on stock wheels on a stock 84 F-250 with no issues. I would imagine with stock wheels, 35's would fit your F-350 with no real issues either. A leveling kit would help with wider wheels.
