hello i was wondering since the airdog 150 pushes more fuel to your truck would it make your truck smoke any more than what it does already?

 

No,unless you start doing mods to it (turbo,injectors,timing boxes,ect.)It will keep your vp pump happy.

i just thought if it pushed more fuel and because i have 65 hp injectors i thought it would make it smoke more.

 

The Airdog will make it smoke slightly more only under full throttle. The amount would be so negligible that only a meter could detect it. The AirDog would give you much cleaner fuel- no air or water entrained in it- and around 75 horsepower at the top rpm's. Filter changes are much easier- and its amazing how much quicker your vehicle will start. Also - the AirDog will push more fuel - but its the injection pump (vp44) that pressurizes the fuel for the injectors. The extra fuel cools and lubricates the injection pump (very valuable and desired) and then is returned to the tank to be pumped through the filters to be filtered again. Lottsa benefits besides the small amount of smoking that you would gain. It would make those 65 hp injectors sing at their most efficiency and btw AirDog improves mileage too. (about 1-2 mpg)
