Default lock up problems

i put a billet convertor in my truck cause my old one was slipping.ever since it has not locked up.it shows a tc lock up circuit and pressure sensor.i changed the tc lock up switch and nothing.a tranny guy i know says that if the seal in the convertor (the one that holds pressure to lock up)is bad it will send codes,is this possoble,would the computer know if something was physically wrong with the convertor?or should i keep changing swutches?

yes it is possible because you will have a pressure loss at the governor pressure solinoid

IS THERE ANY WAY TO TEST IT?HOW CAN I KNOW IF THE SOLENOID IS WORKING,ISN'T THERE SOME WAY OF TESTING VOLTAGE OR MAYBE GROUNDING IT OUT ON THE SOLENOID ITSELF.AND COULD IT BE THE PRESSURE SENSOR,IS THIS A LIKELY CAUSE?
