Question Stock exhaust size?

what the stock exhaust size on a 12v a 24v and a 7.3? When i get a truck in a few weeks im gunna straight it and im wondering what size they come stock,

12V - 3"
24V - 3" (second gen) 3.5" in certain spots (depends on year)

7.3 - no idea

whichever one - get a 4" (at least) - lets the engine breath a lot better

Believe the 7.3's were a 3".

wow not as big as i though..... after buying the truck im gunna hafto wait for a new exaust so im just gunna straight pipe it for the time being

i think the 1999 through 2002 are 3.5 but the older bosy styles are smaller just wasnt sure what size the older ones were.



And Will the stock exhaust straight be alrite with the stock feul plate slid a little foward and an intake?

The older ones are 3 inches

my 05 24V is 4inch, I straight piped mine and love it, little on the nosiey side but not bad for a Common rail.

Default 3" Exhaust on 7.3 IDI 91F 250

Did some conversion on 7.3 and complete system consists of 3" angled down bend after turbo, then back bend towards rear, then down bend towards pavement. Thats it--very quiet until you lean on it. Don't need no frigging muffler.
