12V - 3"
24V - 3" (second gen) 3.5" in certain spots (depends on year)

7.3 - no idea

whichever one - get a 4" (at least) - lets the engine breath a lot better

i think the 1999 through 2002 are 3.5 but the older bosy styles are smaller just wasnt sure what size the older ones were.

And Will the stock exhaust straight be alrite with the stock feul plate slid a little foward and an intake?

7.3 Cowboy 09-05-2009 03:08 PM

The older ones are 3 inches

my 05 24V is 4inch, I straight piped mine and love it, little on the nosiey side but not bad for a Common rail.

3" Exhaust on 7.3 IDI 91F 250

Did some conversion on 7.3 and complete system consists of 3" angled down bend after turbo, then back bend towards rear, then down bend towards pavement. Thats it--very quiet until you lean on it. Don't need no frigging muffler.
