Default What year dodge trucks are CR fuel injected?

Is the common rail fuel system aftermarket only? or are some cummins powered trucks stock with this type system?

Is it better than the VP44 system? Is it posible to upgrade If I buy a used pump and the lines?

CR is a better design than the VP44. It would be easier and cheaper to convert to a P7100 injection pump from a 12V Cummins.

Im still a bit lost as to what your asking - are you asking about converting a VP-44 truck to a commonrail?

Yeah, the Commonrail with the CP-3 pump is a much better system and the pumps take a lot more abuse than a VP-44.

But, this would not be an easy or cheap conversion - if it can be done at all.

The sheer money it would take to get the computers to work ...would be enough to ster me away from it...

Get a good VP and a good lift pump and when i say good i dont mean a new OEM one...im talking Airdog, FASS, MITUSA belt drive pump...
