turbo timer??

turbo timer??
i was lookin on summit and they have a turbo timer for 12 valves and up. what does it do and is there any advantage to it?

lets you trun your truck off and pull the key with the engine runnning so your turbo can cool down to a certin EGT or an amount of time.
Do you have a stock turbo? If you do I would say sepnd the cash somewhere else and juat watch your egt gauge and turn it off at 350 or 300 degrees and if you were running it hard let it cool for a minute or two.
