Im pretty sure my lift could cause my steering wheel to sit off center. Could it be my alignment as well? Is there some way to fix this problem? Thank you.

 

my dads 06 is like this since new always to the left I think the steer boxs is off a tooth or it needs an alignment

 

a lift will throw off the alignment.....anytime you mess with the suspension or steering it is a good idea to have it aligned...if you just want to fix the steering wheel you can loosen the clamps and adjust the sleeve on the drag link, until your steering wheel is fixed, then just tighten it back down...

 

take it to the shop to have an alignment it is from the lift

DON'T try to adjust the steering box...the pitman arm is keyed, so you can't adjust it anyways, and the only adjustment on the box has nothing to do with where your steering wheel sits.

You could adjust the sleeve on the draglink, but after a lift, you really ought to get a professional alignment. There are important adjustments (caster mainly) other than just making your steering wheel sit straight.

 

Basically I should have it professionally aligned and then adjust the steering wheel to sit straight?

 

they will probably do it when they align it but if they dont then yeah ull have to adjust the draglink sleeve

 

The shop that aligns it will straighten the wheel for you. If they don't, take it back and make them do it. A proper alignment ALWAYS includes this.
