Just wondering if anyone would be interested in having a transfer case temperature gauge. I am trying to see if there is an interest for the 4wd guys to monitor their transfer case temperature. I wish there was one on the <acronym title="Duramax"><acronym title="Duramax">Dmax</acronym></acronym> before she ate the rear half of the transfer case up not that it would make much of a difference. But for those guys who have had one lock up or fall out due to lack of oil, would have appreciated to know that there was either no temperature reading or an extremely high temperature reading. I got lucky and found the oil leaking out of mine just before doing 500 miles pulling a trailer. I filled the case with motor oil for the short time and plugged the hole with RTV to make the trip (I was moving back home from working out of town).

I was talking to one of the gauge mfg's, and there is a possibility to have a gauge remarked to show transfer case temperature. How many people would be interested? If I can get enough people interested, they might make a run on the gauge face with the markings.
