Default how's your CB mounted?

Needin some help guys. I've got an '01 Dodge with the 6spd and I just can't figure a good place to mount my CB where it's not in the way. I mached it up in front of that pocket under the radio but it makes goin into reverse difficult. So any pics of what ya'll are doin would be much appreciated.

Geno's kit
CB MOUNT ('94-'02 DODGE)-Dodge Cummins and Ford Power Stroke Diesel Truck Accessories - Geno's Garage

On dads 99 we mounted it on the knee bolster like in my truck next to the ash tray. On my ol 2000 auto I screwed it right to the drop down cup holder.

Where I mounted mine... 3rd gen.

It all depends on what kind of CB you have, plan on getting. On my 02 I mounted my Cobra 19 in the little storage box on the dash, it fit perfect. When I upgraded to a Cobra 25 I put in the same spot but some modding needed to be done. I'll see if I can find the pic of it. Here is where I mounted it on my 06.

HOLY S@^T, do you have to go to class to operate one of those cockpits? What is all that stuff, and the switch panel in the change holder, what does that control?

Did you try finding a spot on the roof by the dome light?

I don't know if this will help or not since it is in an '03 Chevy, but here is how I have mine mounted along with my 2m/440 radio.

mine used to set on the trans hump and I had my high idle switch mounted to the side of it.

Then I made the new shifter with the switches on it and decided I didnt like the shifter hitting the radio. So I cut out the cubby hole in the dash and shoved it in there. Looks factory if you ask me
