Where is exactly is the oil cooler check valve or back flow valve at? My dad has 99.5 7.3PSD and his is bad but we can't find were it is at or were to buy one. We have called 16 places and the quickest we can get one here is March 10.

 

are you talking about the trans cooler check valve?

 

no for the auctul engine oil cooler.

 

the oil filter bypass and the oil pressure regulating valve are both located in the oil filter header.

I had the same problem with my check valve and its located in the oil filter housing where the oil filter screws on at. I tried all ford dealerships and forget it but i found one finally a brand new one. Look on an auction site I dont know if i can say the name of the site on here but the letter E which is the first of the word and if you was sitting at the dock of the (bay) you can probably find one there.

 

We got one and got it fixed.
