Default help asap please

i took the back plate on the injection pump off to adjust the govenor. and i forgot to put it back and realized my truck started leaking. bc i heard u can run with the plate off. but i had some oil and fuel leaking from my truck is that the cause.

I would think putting the cover back on would be a step in the right direction.

I think you confused the plate with the fuel plate instead of the governor cover.. The pump is oil fed from the engine oil pressure system and the oil will flow right out of the pump!
