Default 3000 to 4000 gsk where to get the extra parts?

I have the 3000 but thinking about the 4000 gsk. I thought there was somewhere you could just get the extra stuff ( springs ) to make it a 4000 ?

Anyone know?

I just got mine in the mail... I haven't put it in and probably won't get to that RPM Range anytime soon.

Keep in mind that going to a 4k kit you should have the heavier valve springs in the motor to help ease valve float.

Thought you were worried with fuel milage???....LOL........Andy

I still never came off the mileage thing. It gets basically the same no matter what I do or how I run it. I put $20 in the last 3 times and get and 110-120 miles out of it. I figured I can get 12 - 13 if I run mainly hwy but around town I get around 9 -10 It sucks but nothing seems to change it

I just put my 4k's in tonight - along with my new #100 Homegrind... It just get's gooder and gooder

I like it when my wrenching is changing my sig instead of repairs. Now all I have is that stinkin' Death Wobble to overcome. Will get my DT Trackbar on the way soon with a Steering Stabilizer to compliment it. Hope it works...

Did you have a 3k kit and went to 4k or did you go from stock to 4k?

I am not sure. I just know the milage sucks. I am getting use to it. I had a 6.5 and got the same mileage out of it. I tried everything and the results are basically the same. If I got 15 or above I think my truck will quit running..... I am honestly not sure why it is so low but I came to the conclusion it will never...never be fixed.

I still gets me pissed off when I hear about the fuel mileage from everyone and they worry about 1-2 mpg. I just say to myself try and worry how to get 8 - 10 more mpg ... oh well it just sucks

Yes I had the 3k and went up to a 4k... No big difference from a 3k IMO. I think it would only make a difference if I ran it that high - and I won't!
