Anyway I have a 1998 P Pump 12 valve and am looking for the best place to tap into tach wire for a remote starter. I have looked at a few forums bur I get things like on the drivers firewall there are two plugs I want the one with white insert.. or passenger side firewall so idk. Is that inside under the dash on the firewall or under the hood or the two plugs by ashtray under the dash not on firewall? Being a 98 I think I get alot of stuff for the 24v VE 98 Cummins. The truck has had a remote start installed (and removed) when I bought it and I do see a wire that was ran to some plugs behind the air cleaner under the hood, would this be it? I attached it to the remote start but no luck maybe its the wait to start wire? My first diesel so I am kinda lost. And sorry if its been asked a hundred times, Thanks
